Loved ones are demanding answers regarding 18-year-old Iyani Jackson's death in late June.

"My daughter came to my room… crawling up the hallway, screaming, “Iyani, Iyani, Iyani gone. Iyani’s been shot in the head," said Jennifer Reynolds, Jackson's aunt.

Boynton Beach Police said Jackson was inside her boyfriend's home when someone drove by the house and fired inside, and killing her.

Officials said it happened a little after 1 a.m. on June 27 on the 100 block of Ocean Breeze Circle.

"We do have a list of persons of interest. We are looking at records, video all types of different evidence to link this case with possibly other cases and get some evidence to actually put these guys behind bars," said Detective Danielle Whitefield of the Boynton Beach Police Department.

Loved ones said she had just given birth to her daughter three weeks before.

"Beautiful person," Reynolds said. "She loved her baby for the couple of weeks she was here. All she did was care for her baby."

Relatives said the 18-year-old victim was not the intended target, and they're frustrated trying to figure out what exactly is going on.

"Since we cannot share the memory of my little sister with her baby, then we want to know what happened to her," Zikoia Jackson, the victim's sister, said.

No arrests have yet been made into her death.

"We’re trying to offer a monetary reward to hopefully have somebody step up and give us the information we need," Whitefield said.

"We didn’t even get to have simple closure of her. So now, we’re mad we want to know what happened to her," Jackson said.

Loved ones hope more organizations can jump in and help find some answers.

"She was such a beautiful person. That was my little Milk Dud. She was bald with no hair so I always called her chocolate Milk Dud," Reynolds said.

She told WPBF 25 News she's pushing for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office to step in and assist with the investigation.

"She don’t deserve it. And I think the city of Palm Beach County should put more resources and help," Reynolds said.
